The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on Thursday, with the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee issuing specific guidelines to ensure they are conducted in a fair, orderly, and completely cheating-free environment.

These directives were said in a notice signed by the president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, Professor Dr Khondokar Ehsanul Kabir, on Tuesday.

According to the notice, strict action will be taken against anyone involved in spreading rumors about question paper leaks or engaging in cheating or malpractice.

Legal action will be taken against those involved under the Public Examinations (Offenses) Act of 1980, the Information and Communication Technology Act of 2006, and the SSC and Equivalent Exam Guidelines-2025.
