Police recovered the body of model and actress Ridhika Ridhi from Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Saturday morning.
She was found hanging from a ceiling fan at around 6am and was later taken to Kurmitola General Hospital, where doctors declared her dead, said Vatara police station Officer-in-Charge Mazharul Islam.
“We went to Kurmitola Hospital and found the body. Initially, it is believed that she died by suicide,” said the OC.
Besides modelling, Ridhi acted in several dramas, including “Ekhane Manush Bikri Hoy,” “Bohurupi,” “Double Honeymoon” and “Shundori.”
