Gas supply will remain suspended for 18 hours in parts of Savar and Ashulia from Sunday night due to gas pipeline replacement work.
In a notice issued on Saturday, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC said gas supply would remain suspended from 11pm on Sunday to 5pm on Monday on both sides of the highway from Amin Bazar DRS to Nabinagar.
The areas where gas supply will remain off include Baliarpur, Hemayetpur, Tannery Industrial Estate, Singair Road, Fulbaria, Nabinagar, Savar municipality, Savar Cantonment, Ashulia Bazar, Gauripur, Kumkumari, Rajashan, Kalma and adjoining areas.
Consumers in nearby areas may also experience low pressure in gas supply during this period.
Titas regretted the temporary inconvenience to its customers.
