Gas supply will remain suspended in several areas of Dhaka from 10am to 8pm on Thursday, due to emergency repairs to a gas pipeline, Titas Gas authorities said.
Residential, commercial and CNG customers in the affected areas will be without gas for 10 hours during the repair work.
According to a Titas notice, gas supply will be suspended in Agargaon, the western parts of Taltola, Shewrapara, Kazipara and Mirpur-10, as well as Mirpur-1, Paikpara, Kallyanpur, Shyamoli, Mirpur 60 Feet and Pirerbag.
The suspension will also affect areas on the right side of the road from Kallyanpur to Mirpur-1.
Gas pressure may remain low in adjacent areas during the repair work, Titas said.
Titas apologised to customers for the temporary inconvenience caused by the emergency repairs.
