Gas supply will be suspended for 12 hours starting Thursday evening in several areas due to repair work and emergency pipeline renovations, the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company announced on Wednesday.
According to the notification, gas supply to all types of customers in the areas around Dhaka EPZ-1 and Dhaka EPZ-2, as well as the west side of the Nabinagar-Chandra road, will be halted from 6pm on Thursday to 6am on Friday.
The announcement also warned of possible low gas pressure in surrounding areas during this period.
Titas authorities apologized for the temporary inconvenience and requested customers' understanding during the disruption.
