A fire that broke out at a branch of Mutual Trust Bank in Dholaikhal of the capital on Saturday has been brought under control.
Five fire service units brought the fire under control at 11:57am on Saturday.
The fire broke out at a branch of Mutual Trust Bank, located on the second floor of a four-storied building, at 10:40am, within 30 minutes of the fire incident at Karwan Bazar.
Senior officer of fire service Shahjahan Sikder confirmed the information.
He said that the fire broke out in the branch of Mutual Trust Bank on the second floor of the four-storey building. Sutrapur fire station has its two units working. Two more units from Siddique Bazar fire station are going to the spot.
The fire service official could not immediately report any damage.
