Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a fugitive convict charged with 13 cases and a 16-year jail sentence from Dhaka's Keraniganj.
The arrestee, 55-year-old Haji Md Abdul Wahid Babu, was arrested during a raid in Goalkhali Anandabazar area, ASP Enayet Kabir Shoaib, staff officer of RAB-10 said on Saturday.
The arrestee also has eight arrest warrant issued agaisnt him, the officer added.
At the time of raid, a mobile phone and cash of Tk6,550 were seized from his possession.
He has been handed over to the concerned police station, added the ASP.
