A young girl died after falling from the rooftop of her house in the capital’s Hazaribagh area on Sunday.
The deceased is Jhumur Akter, 14, a student of Happy Time School.
The fifth-grader was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition following the incident that occurred in the afternoon.

The doctor on duty pronounced her dead at 6:30pm.
Inspector Bachhu Mia of DMCH police outpost said the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
Sabbir Hossain, cousin of the deceased, said Jhumur had fallen from the rooftop of the three-storey building accidentally while playing with other children.
