Residents of several neighbourhoods in Dhaka will have no gas for hours on Sunday due to pipeline works, says the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd.
Supply will remain suspended in the capital’s Sayedabad, Mugda, Golapbagh, Manik Nagar, Gopibagh, Jatrabari, Dhalpur and the surrounding areas.
In a notification on Saturday, the gas distributor said users in the areas will be left without no gas from 1pm to 5pm due to the shifting of gas pipelines from Titipara to Golapbagh.

There will be no gas from Kamalapur Railway Station to Titipara, Sayedabad Bus Terminal, Mugda, Golapbagh, Beltala, Manik Nagar, Atish Dipankar Road, RK Mission Road, Gopibagh, Uttara, Jatrabari, and Dhalpur, it said.
Supply to all types of consumers in these areas will be stopped and the gas pressure in surrounding areas might be low, according to Titas Gas.
