A resident of Mohammadpur, Katasur has come forward to help 131 families amid coronavirus pandemic.
The group led by businessman Azizur Rahman Litu provided groceries to the families in need ahead of Eid-up-Fitr on Ramadan 27,Thursday.
The food assistant consisted of milk, vermicelli, rice, polao rice, onion, oil, sugar, etc.
Food relief are being distributed among needy families in Mohammadpur | Dhaka TribuneLitu said: “There is a section of people in our society who do not get relief, cannot go out and ask for help, so we decided come and help such residents of our area.”
He said: “I along with some of my friends and family members gave food assistance such families before also, but this year it was much needed because of Covid-19, which has killed over 400 people in Bangladesh.
