Singer Mohammadullah Nirob Obhi has died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Police found 26-year-old Obhi— with grievous injury marks—at Dhaka’s Mukim Bazar Cemetery.
They took him to one-stop emergency unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 10am on Wednesday, after he received first-aid at Mitford Hospital.
Critically-injured Obhi died—while receiving treatment at the hospital—around 7pm the same day, Sub-Inspector (SI) Bacchu Miah of the DMCH police outpost confirmed.
He said the body is being autopsied at the DMCH morgue.
Bangshal police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shahidur Rahman said a case has been filed regarding this matter.
They have yet to identify the culprit and are still investigating the matter, he added.
