Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said, those involved in the bomb attacks on police in Malibagh, and Gulistan areas of Dhaka will be arrested soon.
The minister made the remark while talking to reporters, at a cloth distribution programme for Eid, at Government Science College in Farmgate area of Dhaka on Sunday, reports UNB.
"Although the militants are trying to get reorganized, they have no capacity of carrying out big attacks,” he said.
Earlier, five people, including three traffic police, were injured in separate incidents of crude bomb explosions in Malibagh and Gulistan areas of Dhaka on May 26 and April 29 respectively.
Talking about Eid security, Asaduzzaman said: "Three-tier security measures have been taken for avoiding any kind of occurrence centring Eid congregations."
Police in civil dress, including intelligence teams, will be enforced to remain alert, he added.
