Ten people have sustained burn injuries after an explosion at a residential building in Dhaka’s Pallabi.
The blast occurred on Tuesday night and originated from the building's water tank. The six-storey building is located in Mirpur 12.
The injured are now receiving treatment at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s burn unit, Sub-Inspector Babul Mia of the hospital’s police outpost said.
Shakil, a resident of the building, said the explosion occurred when the cover of the water tank was opened.
