Education minister assures Willes students of justice for Risha killing

He visited the school at Kakrail on Monday where students have been protesting since Sunday against Risha's killing and told them how he was saddened by her death. Students blocked the road in front of the school for about two hours from 12:30pm demanding the killer be given exemplary punishment. Photo: Collected Risha, 14, was stabbed by an unidentified assailant on August 24 and succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. Her mother Tania Hossain says she suspects one Obaidul Khan, a cutting master of a Baishakhi Ladies Tailors on Elephant Road’s Eastern Moillika Shopping Mall, stabbed her daughter for refusing his advances.
