Six Chinese nationals working on the Karnaphuli tunnel project were mugged at the Rangadia area under Karnaphuli police station in Chittagong on Saturday.
The incident took place near the KAFCO factory at Rangadia union.
The victims have lodged a case with Karnaphuli police station, stating that there were three muggers.
Karnaphuli police station OC Syedul Mostafa said the muggers stole Tk2,500 and 5 mobile phones at gun point from the six Chinese nationals, who work for China Construction Company.
"Efforts to arrest the muggers are underway," the OC added.
