Housewife strangled to death for dowry in Rajshahi

The cause of the death can only be confirmed after autopsy.” He said: “We are trying to catch the other members of the family.” Motihar SI Selim Reza said: “Shumi got married to Mithun Ali four months ago. The couple were having disputes over dowry since their marriage. “On Saturday evening, Shumi's in-laws informed her parents that she committed suicide. However, her parents claimed that she was murdered.” He also said Shumi’s in-laws took the body to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital before informing the police. “They escaped from the scene when the doctors declared her dead on arrival,” the SI said.
