Samsuzzamn was picked up from his Savar home for interrogation early Wednesday.
Later, he was shown arrested in a case filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA).

What plaintiff says
Advocate Abdul Malek alias Moshiur Malek, executive president of Bangabandhu Foundation, said that the statement published by Prothom Alo was not consistent with the statement of the child mentioned in the article.
He said: “I couldn't believe that such a small child would say such a thing. After that I started to inquire by talking to Bangabandhu Foundation staff.”
“After watching the report of Farzana Rupa on Ekattor Television, I got to know the truth behind the report. A common citizen can never talk like this about independence. It is unfair. I also wanted to file a case of sedition for which government permission is required,” he added.
He also said: “First of all, we are all victims of the rising prices of goods. Moreover, the price of goods in our country is very low compared to other countries. If we compare with the period of Pakistan rule, the prices of our country's goods are not as high at present. I think the prices of goods have increased just as people's incomes have increased.”
Based on these reasons, Advocate Abdul Malek went to Ramna police station to file a case on Wednesday evening.
Earlier, Jubo League leader Syed Mohammad Golam Kibria filed a case under Sections 25 (2), 26 (2), 29 (1), 31 (2) and 35 (2) of the Digital Security Act, 2018 for the offense of attempting and aiding and abetting the deterioration of law and order by publishing and disseminating defamatory and false information.
