The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) has filed two cases against Omar Mohammad Bhai, the nephew of businessman Aziz Mohammad Bhai, and two others for the possession of illegal liquor.
The cases were filed with Gulshan police station on Monday, DNC Director (operations) Masud Rabbani told Dhaka Tribune.
Two other accused are -- Meer Md Parvez, a domestic help, and Nabin Mandal, the caretaker of the house.
Earlier on Sunday, a DNC raid recovered a huge cache of foreign liquor, gambling equipment, and other contraband items during a raid at a house owned by businessman Aziz Mohammad Bhai.
Alongside the bottles of liquor, several hookahs, glass bongs, a betting table, roulette set, and casino chips were also recovered from the house.
