During the operation, officials checked the company's registers, National Board of Revenue-approved software and the physical stock at the warehouse

The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) has sealed a bonded warehouse in Gulshan owned by the father-in-law of content creator Salman Muqtadir after identifying irregularities in the storage and accounting of imported liquor and beer.

The warehouse, TOS Bond Pvt Ltd, is owned by Nur Islam, his wife Sheila Islam and their daughter Tasnim Islam.

The DNC disclosed the information in a press release on Friday morning.

A joint team led by the DNC, along with the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department and SRB, conducted the operation on Thursday night.

During the operation, officials checked the company's registers, National Board of Revenue-approved software and the physical stock at the warehouse.

They found 144 cans of beer, 12 bottles of whisky and six bottles of Nemiroff in the warehouse, although the company's software showed the products as "Exbond", meaning they had already been released from the warehouse.

The team also found that 2,250 cartons of imported Heineken beer were listed as "Inbound" in the company's software on September 3, 2026. However, the goods were not physically present at the warehouse.

Officials also found that the company had four floors, but the necessary customs authorisation and related documents for two floors were unavailable.

Following the findings, customs authorities sealed the warehouse in the presence of DNC officials under the relevant customs law.

The DNC said further verification is underway and legal action will be taken based on the findings.
