Green Line Paribahan has paid TK5 lakh as monthly instalments to Rasel Sarker, whose left leg was crushed by one of the buses of the transport company.
The company paid the instalment at the High Court bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahasan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader on Monday.
Advocate Polash Chandra Ray, on behalf of Green Line, hand over the cheque to the Rasel in from of the justices.
The court said the rest of the money--TK40 lakh-- have to be paid as monthly installments of Tk5 lakh each to the victims.
It also fixed September 7 for the payment of another instalment while the next hearing in the case will be held on October 17.

Earlier on July 21, the court ordered Green Line Paribahan to pay first instalment within one week.
On July 16, the court said: "They [Green Line] has not complied with the court's order to pay a monthly instalment of Tk5 lakh,"
The same day, Green Line Paribahan Counsel Wazi Ullah withdraw his name from the case as the transport company has been repeatedly disobeying the court’s order.
Earlier on June 25, the High Court asked Green Line Paribahan to pay a compensation of Tk5 lakh monthly instalment to Rasel, to clear the remaining Tk45 lakh of compensation.
The court had also asked Green Line's lawyer to pay the money by the seventh of each month, and submit a compliance report by the 15th.

On April 10, Green Line paid Tk5 lakh to Rasel, and the court allowed it one month's time to pay the remaining Tk45 lakh.
On March 31, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court upheld the High Court order that had asked Green Line Paribahan authorities to give Tk50 lakh to Rasel.
On April 28, 2018, a luxury Green Line coach rear-ended the car Rasel was driving. The accident occurred on the slope of Mayor Md Hanif Flyover in Dholaipar, and caused Rasel to step outside of his car to assess the damage.
Although he signaled the bus not to drive away, bus driver Kabir Hossai-- in his attempt to flee the scene-- ran over Rasel, severing his left leg from the thigh down in the process.
After being informed, police impounded the bus and detained Kabir from near the National Press Club.
