Bangladesh Railway has begun selling advance return train tickets for holidaymakers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha,
Online ticket sales for May 31 journeys started at 8am on Thursday, with passengers purchasing tickets through the railway’s official website and mobile app.
Under the announced schedule, tickets for June 1 journeys will go on sale on May 22, followed by June 2 tickets on May 23, June 3 tickets on May 24 and June 4 tickets on May 25.
Advance ticket sales for outbound Eid journeys began on May 13 with tickets for May 23 travel. Tickets for May 24, 25, 26 and 27 journeys were subsequently sold on May 14, 15, 16 and 17, respectively.
