Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter on Friday said that the government is committed not to any particular region but to the development of the entire country.
"The advisers of the interim government are not in office to wield power but to fulfill their duties to the nation," she added.
Adviser Farida Akhter made these remarks while addressing the "Mejban and Chattola Fest-2025," organized by the Greater Chittagong Samiti, Gazipur chapter, at Pubail, according to a press release from the ministry.
“We, the advisers of the interim government, are not here solely for the people of Chittagong; we are working for the entire nation. Our role is to serve, not to enjoy power,” she said.
The adviser also stressed the importance of preserving the Chittagong dialect, describing it as a rich linguistic heritage that incorporates vocabulary from English, Arabic, Portuguese, and Arakanese.
