The LNG supply from the US company Excelerate Energy-operated LNG terminal in Maheshkhali will be halted for three days.
According to Petrobangla, gas supply will be reduced in certain areas from 12pm on Friday to 12pm on Monday.
This information was provided in a press release sent by Petrobangla on Thursday.
The release said that due to repair and maintenance work, the LNG supply from the Excelerate Energy-operated terminal in Maheshkhali will be suspended for a total of 72 hours.
During this period, gas supply will continue at approximately 550 to 560 million cubic feet per day from Summit's other LNG terminal.
The authorities sincerely apologize for the temporary inconvenience caused to the public.
