The in-person classes at Chittagong University (CU) are set to start on October 6.
This decision was made in a syndicate meeting on Thursday afternoon.
The matter was confirmed by Prof Dr Mohammad Shamim Uddin Khan, the vice-chancellor (Academic) and a member of the syndicate.
He said: "It has been decided to resume in-person classes from October 6. Before that, students can apply for dormitory seats from September 29 (Sunday) to October 2 (Wednesday) for four days. Seats will be allocated on October 3, and students will be able to move into the dormitories starting October 5. The application process will be completely online."
Chittagong University was indefinitely closed on July 17 following the student movement.
