A new member is going to be appointed in the advisor team of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina along with the former five advisors.
Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain informed this at a press briefing in the Secretariat in Dhaka on Thursday night.
He said: “Former five advisors of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be appointed again along with new advisor Kamal Naser Chowdhury.”
Earlier, Dr Mashiur Rahman served as the prime minister’s economic affairs adviser, Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury as the energy, power and mineral resources advisor, Major General Tarique Ahmed Siddique as defence and security adviser, Salman F Rahman as private industry and investment advisor, and Sajeeb Wazed Joy as information and communication technology advisor.
However, their offices have not yet been distributed in the new term.
