Condolences continue to pour in for lawmaker of Chittagong-10 and former primary and mass education minister Dr Afsarul Amin who passed away at a Dhaka hospital on Friday.
He was 72.
Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Shamsul Huq Tuku and ministers shared condolences at the death of this Chittagong lawmaker.
In a separate condolence message, Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Shamsul Huq Tuku expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Dr Afsarul Amin.
In a condolence message, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate condolence messages, Agriculture Minister Dr M Abdur Razzaque and Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Planning Minister MA Mannan and State Minister for Planning Dr Shamsul Alam expressed deep shock and sorrow at his death.
Amin, who had been suffering from cancer for the last two years, breathed his last at Square Hospital in Dhaka around 4pm on Friday, his personnel assistant Didar ur Rahman Tushar told BSS.
