Over 100 Covid cases detected in Bangladesh for 3 days in a row

None died during the time

In the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, 103 Covid-19 patients have been identified in Bangladesh. 

Earlier, on Monday, DGHS reported 159 new Covid patients, the highest in seven months. 

Besides, 114 patients were identified on Tuesday. 

As a result, more than 100 patients were identified for three consecutive days.

In the last 24 hours, no one died from the virus, according to a press release sent by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Wednesday.

According to DGHS, those 103 patients were identified in 1,709 sample tests in the last 24 hours. 

On this day, the detection rate per 100 samples was 6.03%. Besides, 18 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and so far, 20,06,267 people have recovered.

So far, 29,446 people have died and 20,39,347 people have been diagnosed. The total detection rate is 13.22% and the death rate is 1.44%, added the directorate.

Bangladesh registered its highest daily caseload of 16,230 on July 28 in 2021 and highest number of fatalities of 264 on August 10 the same year.
