Zahid Hasan, in-charge of highway police Elenga outpost, said that compared to other years, the people of the northern region were able to return to their homes and workplaces without any problems.
Bangabandhu Bridge East police station Officer-in-charge (OC) Safiqul Islam said that many people were returning to work after Eid. Buses and private cars ply on the highway. But there is no truck. Police are on duty at various points of the highway to clear the traffic jam.
