Bangladesh Railway has cancelled Monday's Dhaka-Chittagong trip of Sonar Bangla Express.
The move came following the derailment of eight coaches of Sonar Bangla Express on Sunday evening.
Railway Director General Kamrul Ahsan confirmed the information on Sunday night.
People had bought advance tickets for this trip on April 7.
Dhaka TribuneBR said the ticket holders will travel on a special train that will leave Kamalapur Railway Station at 8:00am on April 19.
At least 20 people were injured in the collision between the passenger train and a stationary freight train on Sunday evening.
