Train movement began on Mymensingh-Bhairab route at 11:30am on Saturday after 2.5 hours of derailment of one of its carriage.
Mohiuddin Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Mymensingh railway GRP police station, said that at about 9am, a coach derailed when the Chittagong-bound Nasirabad 38 down train reached Shambhuganj area from Mymensingh junction.
Since then the Mymensingh-Bhairab route train services have been stopped. No one was injured in this incident.
On information, the rescue train and workers from Kewatkhali loco shed came and rescued the derailed carriage.
