The court ordered to investigate the murder case of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) student Fardin Noor Parash and submit a report on December 12.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan ordered inspector of Rampura police station Mohammad Golam Moula to investigate and submit the report.
Earlier in the afternoon, a Dhaka court placed Amatullah Bushra, the prime accused in the murder case of Bangladesh University of Engineering (Buet) student Fardin Noor Parash, on a 5-day remand.
Fardin's father Nuruddin Rana filed a case with Rampura police station against Bushra and some unidentified person early Thursday.
Following the filing of the case, police arrested Bushra from her house at Dhaka's Banasree area in the morning, Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rampura police station, said.
The body of Fardin, a third-year student of the civil engineering department of Buet, was recovered from Shitalakkhya at Banani Ghat under Siddhirganj police station around 6:30pm on Monday.
