Day and night temperatures have slowly started to drop across Bangladesh as winter approaches.
A Bangladesh Meteorological Department bulletin on Tuesday said the mercury may drop further next week.
The forecast for the next 24 hours said the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.
Some parts of the country may see light to moderate fog in the morning.
Night and day temperatures may remain almost unchanged, the BMD added.
The lowest temperature in the country in the last 24 hours was recorded at 17℃ in Tetulia.
Besides, among the divisional cities of the country, the lowest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 20.8℃ in Dhaka, 17.8℃ in Rajshahi, 22.2℃ in Rangpur, 20.5℃ in Mymensingh, 21.6℃ in Sylhet, 22.9℃ in Chittagong, 21℃ in Khulna and 18.1℃ in Barisal.
