Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9am.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Chittagong divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions," said a Met Office bulletin in the morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy to heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded at 35.5°C in Feni and Ramgati, while Monday's minimum temperature is 23.8°C in Bandarban.
In the last 24 hours (till 6am on Monday), the highest 48 millimetre rainfall occurred in Rajarhat.
The sun sets at 6:04pm on Monday and rises at 5:45am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
