Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued in the morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy to heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Saturday was 35.5 degrees Celsius in Mymensingh, while Sunday's minimum temperature is 24 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
In the last 24 hours (till 6am on Sunday), the highest 62 millimetre rainfall occurred in Netrakona.
The sun sets at 6:36pm on Sunday and rises at 5:32am on Monday in Dhaka.
