Biman Bangladesh Airlines will start operating direct flights from Dhaka to Toronto on March 26.
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali told the media about the matter at an event at Hatirjheel Amphitheatre in Dhaka on Friday.
The airline will operate flights in line with the agreement between Bangladesh and Canada.
The government is also planning to start Dhaka-New York flights and has finalized the launch of Dhaka-Narita flights, but there have been some delays due to the pandemic, said the state minister.
