Bangladesh has inoculated over 900,000 people since it rolled out the vaccination campaign on February 7.
A total of 169, 353 people — 112,848 males and 56,505 females— got vaccine shots across the country on Sunday, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
As of Sunday, 906,033 doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered, it said in a media statement.
Meanwhile, 32 people have reported of minor side effects after getting their shots.
The government is administering the Oxford University-AstraZeneca vaccine doses, manufactured by the Serum Institute of India, for free.
Bangladesh has reported 326 new cases of the coronavirus in a day, taking the tally of infections to 540,592.
Eight deaths were recorded in the 24 hours to 8am on Sunday, taking the death toll to 8,274.
The overall infection rate in the country stands at 14.05% from the 3,848,116 tests that have been conducted so far.
Meanwhile, a total of 462 patients have successfully recovered from the infection across the country, taking the total number of recovered case to 487,229.
The country's recovery rate now stands at 90.13%.
