EX-NSU missing student’s car found abandoned in Ctg

Police have recovered the private car of former North South University (NSU) student, who went missing on Monday along with his driver, in an abandoned condition from the parking space of Chittagong Diabetic Hospital in city’s Khulshi area on Wednesday night. Former NSU student Junayed Ahmed, 25, son of late Altaf Hossain and his driver Md Mostafa, 30, went missing Monday evening from city’s Wasa intersection area along with the private car on his way to his residence in Kushumbag Residential Area of Khulsi. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nizam Uddin of Khulshi police station told the Dhaka Tribune: “Police found the private car of businessman Junayed Ahmed in abandoned condition inside the parking lot of Khulshi Diabetic Hospital at around 7:30pm.” “The car was locked and its key was also missing”, said the police official adding that the duo is still untraceable. OC Nizam said police were trying to find out their last location while police were investigating into the incident considering all the possible aspect. SM Manjur, brother-in-law of Junayed, filed the case on Tuesday while Sub-Inspector Bablu Kumar Pal was given its charge to investigate the matter.
