US-Bangla Airlines has decided to resume its regular flight operation on the Dhaka-Doha route from August 31, after five months of Covid-19 forced suspension.
The private airline company plans to operate two flights every week from Dhaka to Doha while ensuring all the health safety guidelines issued by the governments of Bangladesh and Qatar, said a statement issued on Thursday.
Kamrul Islam, the spokesperson for the airlines, said: “The Doha-bound flights of Boeing 737-800 aircraft will leave Dhaka at 7:30pm on Monday and Friday every week.
“The return flight will leave Doha for Dhaka at 11:50pm (local time) on the same days.
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines has a total of 13 aircrafts including six brand new ATR 72-600, three Dash 8-Q400, and four Boeing 737-800.
US-Bangla Airlines also operates one international flight a week from Dhaka to Guangzhou and two international flights to Kuala Lumpur.
Besides, US-Bangla Airlines operates special flights to various destinations around the world for the convenience of stranded passengers and cargo transport amid the ongoing pandemic.
