Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Wednesday evening.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader confirmed the matter on Monday.
State owned Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar will simultaneously broadcast the address.
Besides, private television channels and radio stations will also air the premier's speech.
Earlier on March 17, the prime minister addressed the nation marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
