A deputy director of the central bank has been killed in a road accident in the capital's Tikatuli area.
Golam Hossain, 50, died on the spot after a bus overturned and fell on him on Tuesday morning, police said.
He was on his way to office.
Wari police OC Zihad Hossain said three other people also sustained minor injuries.
They are Jalal Uddin, 56, Sujon, 28, and Shahida Khatun, 40.
But it is unclear whether they were passengers of the bus or pedestrians.
