UNAB calls for rights of Palestinians

The organisation made the call at a symposium in observance of the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian people held yesterday in Dhaka. Speakers said, Gaza remains a humanitarian emergency with 2 million Palestinians struggling with a paralysed economy. The continuous conflict has led to growing anger and frustration among the Palestinians. The international community must make it clear that it remains committed to helping the parties in rebuilding trust and creating conditions for meaningful negotiations, said Ambassador AHM Moniruzzaman. Faik H Hamza, counsellor of the Embassy of the State of Palestine, and Kazi Ali Reza, officer in-charge of the United Nations Information Centre also attended the programme. Hamza said that Palestinian people will continue their struggle till they achieve all of their rights.
