Fire service recovers drone from metro station roof after 3 days

Fire Service and Civil Defence recovered a drone stuck on the roof of Motijheel Metro Rail Station for three days.

Rozina Akhter, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room, said a drone fell on the roof of the metro rail station on Monday. 

• Metro rail services to remain closed on Eid day
• Carrying raw or cooked meat on metro rail prohibited
• Metro rail to run on new schedule after Eid-ul-Azha

Due to high-voltage powerlines, it was not possible to recover the device. Since the metro rail was closed on Friday, the drone was recovered with a TTL (Turn Table Ladder) vehicle, she added.
