During her second presidential speech, she noted a newfound confidence in the Indian story during her interactions with the Indian diaspora. She emphasized that India is playing a pivotal role in advancing developmental and humanitarian goals worldwide and assuming leadership roles in international forums, notably the presidency of the G-20.

Highlighting the significance of the G-20's representation of two-thirds of the global population, she underscored the unique opportunity for India to shape international discourse positively. With the G-20 presidency, India holds the potential to guide decision-making in trade and finance toward equitable progress.

She mentioned the collective enthusiasm among citizens regarding G-20 events and underscored that Independence Day serves as an occasion to reconnect with history, evaluate the present, and contemplate the future.

Drawing attention to India's current state, President Murmu reaffirmed that India has not only regained its rightful global standing but has also elevated its position within the international order. She attributed this success to the nation's strides on multiple fronts, citing the resilient economy as a beacon of hope for others during challenging times.
