Bangladesh Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman lost to GM Jumabayev Rinat of Kazakhstan in the 7th round of the Open Section of the Asian Continental Chess Championships on Wednesday which is now being held in Sharjah in United Arab Emirates.
Zia played with white pieces used London Colle systems and lost after 64 moves. Zia earned 4 points after the end of 7th round. Meanwhile in the women’s section, WFM Nazrana Khan Eva drew with Faqeeh Aseel of Palestine.
