Freelancer Mahbub Alam Khan won the call bridge event in the Walton-BSJA Sports Carnival in the capital Saturday, while Dhaka Post’s Tarikul Islam Sajal and SA TV’s Noor Uddin finished second and third respectively.
Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association general secretary Anisur Rahman, tournament committee convenor Raihan Mahmood and member secretary Robiul Islam were present on the occasion.
The swimming event will be held Sunday at midday at Ivy Rahman Swimming Pool, Bangabandhu National Stadium while the chess discipline begins at 1:30pm at the BSJA office.
