SA TV’s Noor Uddin won the carrom singles title on the second day of the Walton-BSJA Sports Carnival at the Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association office in the capital Friday.
The Daily Star’s Ramin Talukder and Prothom Alo’s Mehedi Hasan Romel claimed the carrom doubles title.
The Daily Star’s Anisur Rahman Paltu and Ramin finished second and third respectively in the carrom singles.
Dhaka Post’s Tarikul Islam Sajal and Jago News’ Shahadat Hossain emerged as the runners up in carrom doubles while Dhaka Tribune’s Fazley Rabbi Moon and Ali Shahriyar Amin Bappa finished third.
Paltu, the BSJA general secretary, Raihan Mahmood, tournament committee convenor, Robiul Islam Robi, member secretary, and others were present on the occasion.
