Border Guard Bangladesh clinched the title of the Exim Bank 29th National Men’s Handball Championship 2019 after beating Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 31-17 points in the final at M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Dhaka Wednesday.
Sohag Hossain of the winning side scored eight goals while Taju Hossain scored nine for Police.
Rabiul Awal of Bangladesh Ansar & VDP was adjudged best player of the tournament.

Ansar beat Bandarban DSA 35-24 to take third spot.
BGB, formerly known as Bangladesh Rifles until 2010, have won all the titles of the national championship since its introduction in 1984.
The only time they didn’t win the championship was in 1988 when Air Force became champion.
