Mohammad Salman Khan and Urmi Akter pair swept into the semi-finals of the mixed doubles event in badminton after beating the host by 21-13, 21-17 points in the quarter-finals at Covered Hall of Pokhara Wednesday.
They face Sri Lanka in the semis Thursday.
In the women’s doubles events, Alina Sultana and Shapla Akter pair and Bristi and Rehena duo lost their games in the quarter-finals against the Indian opponents.
Alina and Sibgat Ullah also lost their quarter-finals game in the individual event.
