Bangladesh face favorite Pakistan in the second semi-final of the South Asian Games at Covered Hall of Tripureswhwar Sunday.

Bangladesh, who has never won a medal in the Games before, could end their volleyball medal drought regardless of the result of the last-four.

Captain Harsit Biswas said, "Pakistan are no less stronger than India. They are one of the favorites. We have already achieved our target of reaching the semi-final, now we will try our best to give a good fight and win a medal.”

Iranian head coach Ali Pour Arozi was more realistic.

He said, "India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are very strong, not only in this region but also in Asian volleyball. They have players with good height and physique, but we are very happy with the way we beat Nepal against the odds in front of their home crowd."
