Grandmaster Niaz Murshed of Bangladesh Ansar maintained his solo lead in the Saif Powertec 45th National “A” Chess Championship, organized by Bangladesh Chess Federation, following the seventh round Friday at Institute of Engineers of Bangladesh in Ramna, Dhaka.
GM Mollah Abdullah al Rakib of Saif Sporting Club, International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Ansar and Fide Master Mohammad Taibur Rahman are joint second with five points, 0.5 point behind Niaz.
